We originally signed on with Beresfords with the Gidea Park office. Shortly after, the Harold Wood office opened and our sale was transferred there. All members of staff did their utmost to secure a sale for us.

When we lost our first buyer, both Chris and Daniel worked tirelessly to ensure we had potential buyers through our front door, eventually securing a buyer that took us through to our eventual house move. Once our house was sold, we were kept regularly up to date with how things were progressing.

All members of staff were helpful and were a pleasure to deal with.

Comment on agent fees

A little on the high side. Beresfords were the most expensive agent we were registered with, the lowest being 1.10% -negotiated down from 1.25%.

Chris worked very hard to get potential buyers through my door. He liked to deal with the clients personally which took the pressure off of me. He was always at the end of the phone when I had any questions.

I did manage to get the fee down to one percent. I did not think much of the original price I had been given which was in the region of £5000 even when the price of my house dropped which was the case for me.

We had a valuation done by Chris Clarke at Your move. I had some concerns about the value of my property and Chris came in to see me at very short notice.

He came very well prepared and was able to give me an insight as to what’s going on in the market and more importantly the value of my property.

He is one of the nicest people I have come across and it’s safe to say I will be using him for any potential sales/letting in the near future!!
