Meet Chris Clarke

I’m Chris Clarke, a Partner at haart, helping homeowners in Bishop’s Stortford approach their move with clarity and confidence. I take time to understand your circumstances, provide honest advice and shape the selling strategy around you and your home.

The Past

My career did not begin in estate agency. I trained as a jeweller and started my working life in Hatton Garden, where attention to detail, presentation and trust were essential. I moved into property in the early 2000s and built my experience across the London and Essex markets.

I later spent more than six years with Beresfords, helping to establish a new branch in an area where the business previously had no presence. That experience reinforced my belief that successful estate agency is not simply about listing properties. It comes from understanding the local market, presenting each home properly, earning the client’s trust and following through on what has been promised.

The Present

Haart approached me more than once. What eventually attracted me was its willingness to innovate in property marketing and the platform it could provide for my clients. After working within the established Harlow branch, I became a Partner in January 2026. This allows me to combine personal involvement and accountability with the buyer reach, marketing capability and practical support of the wider haart business.

Today, I bring that experience to homeowners in Bishop’s Stortford. My approach is built around honest advice, thorough preparation, marketing tailored to each property and personal support throughout the move. The strongest evidence of those standards comes from the homeowners I have already helped and the experiences they have shared.
